Cynthia began her career in wedding photography by loading film backs for a fellow wedding photographer. When he realized her interest in photography, he equipped her with a camera and a tripod to see what she could do. From that moment on, she loved being behind the camera. She worked for several professional wedding photographers to learn how to shoot great pictures, what to look for, and how to use light to create beautiful images.
From this experience, her own business was born. She wants to be involved with the bridal couple from the beginning, to get to know them in pre-wedding consultations and photo sessions so that on their wedding day she is ready to photograph their perfect wedding. Cynthia has expanded her business to include her son George as her second shooter and assistant. George is equally gifted in photography and specializes in the unexpected photographs from a separate perspective.
As do other wedding photographers, Cynthia Walsh is a photojournalist who eloquently depicts the wedding story. She brings her unique style to her photographs of the church , the reception, the wedding party, and family portraits. She has the ability to put her subjects at ease in order to capture each formal or candid moment. Her knowledge of French, Spanish and German has often been a strength in connecting with guests and clients.
Cynthia and George devote themselves solely and entirely to each wedding day as it unfolds. They demonstrate painstaking care to every aspect of the wedding from beginning to end. They work together to capture all the special moments of the perfect wedding event in cherished photographs, which will last a lifetime.
